Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) is a media partner for the 20th One World film festival, the world’s largest gathering for human rights documentary film, which takes place in Prague and 36 other towns throughout the Czech Republic each year from March 5 – 14.

The theme of One World 2018 is “Updating The System,” a reference to life in the information age and the current panic over disinformation and media manipulation. It will be explored through 128 films from 52 countries in 15 categories, including 20 premiers.

The Current Time digital and TV network will be prominently featured in the festival’s EastDoc program, which provides a dedicated platform for Eastern and Central European films and filmmakers.

Current Time’s Real Kino documentary series will offer monetary prizes to two EastDoc selections.

The festival is organized by People in Need, a non-governmental, humanitarian organization based in Prague.
