Daniela is an independent journalist covering corruption, human rights, and disinformation. From 2019 to 2022, she worked as an investigative reporter at Ziarul de Gardă and later contributed to Die Tageszeitung in Berlin and Zona de Securitate, a media platform focused on Moldova’s Transnistrian region. Between 2024 and 2025, she worked as a research consultant at the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab. Her work has received several awards, including the 2025 Tulip Press Award for human rights reporting, and she was among the journalists honored with Moldova’s 2025 Journalists of the Year Award by the Center for Independent Journalism. Daniela holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and is completing a master’s degree in Media and Area Studies at Charles University. She speaks Romanian, English, and Russian.
