Elmedina is a journalist with over five years of experience in investigative reporting. She worked for the web portal Tacno.net, where she covered topics such as politics, societal issues, human rights, and foreign influence in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Previously, she worked as a journalist at Federalna.ba. Elmedina has participated in several professional development programs, including BIRN’s Summer School of Investigative Reporting and British Council mentorships on gender-sensitive media policies. She won the 2021/2022 Best Reporting on Corruption award from the Center for the Development of Media and Analysis in Sarajevo. Elmedina received her master’s degree in communication and journalism from the University of Sarajevo and is fluent in English and Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, with intermediate German proficiency.
