Victoria Kurochka, Ukraine

Victoria has worked as a journalist on multiple documentary projects including “What’s Next,” “Region of Heroes,” Decisive Moment,” “Loving Man,” and currently “Suspiline.” Her responsibilities include transcription, recording interviews, search and selection of potential topics, collection of material, and coordination with the director in developmental processes. She recently received her master’s degree in journalism from the faculty of Philology and Journalism at the Poltava National Pedagogical University. Her video editing skills include Final Cut and Premier and she has attended trainings hosted by the Ukrainian Association of Press Publishers pertaining to “investigative journalism as a genre” as well as management and editing special skills and abilities. Her native language is Ukrainian, and she is intermediate in English.
