Christine Fetzko serves as Head of Operations, overseeing the technology, media operations, information security, and business support functions at RFE/RL. She previously served as Chief of Staff to the President & CEO.  Prior to joining RFE/RL in 2007, Fetzko was a Presidential Management Fellow with the former Broadcasting Board of Governors (now the U.S. Agency for Global Media). She completed details to the U.S Department of State, including with the Bureaus of Democracy, Human Rights & Labor, European and Eurasian Affairs, and Near Eastern Affairs. Before entering federal service, Fetzko worked with several non-profit, international development-oriented NGOs, including the International Research & Exchanges Board, the Solidarity Center, and the United Methodist Committee on Relief. She holds a B.A. in Intellectual History from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. in International Affairs from George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
