Senior Leadership

Karen Johnsen is RFE/RL’s Acting CFO and Assistant Treasurer. She joined RFE/RL as Comptroller in January 2020 and became RFE/RL’s Director of Financial Planning & Analysis in September 2024.

Stephen Capus has served as RFE/RL’s President since January 1, 2024.

Tanya Youngberg has served as RFE/RL’s Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of the Corporation since June 2022.
